After balance patch and dlcs´Quality:
Rh: Raw Santier´s
Lh1: Shadow dagger / Roayl dirk
R1 pokes to L1 bonefist. DW all the time. Vs shields try guard break with dagger. R1 and L1 mix up nicely. You can play aggro with WDR1 to WD R1, its pretty nasty move and even dealing chip dmg can open situations, careful vs parry uhka. You can play passive with R1 pokes and punish rolls with L1 L1.Brawler setup:
Heavy armor as close as 70% as possible.
Rh1: Old whip
Rh: Great scythe
Lh1: Shadow dagger
Leaves plenty of options for armor setup. Scythe and bonefist is a lovely combo. Swap to whip and whip lashes is uncanny and unexpected.
1 of the best combos in this game is Scythe R1R1, wait R1 to bonefist L1L1. 1H R2 moves are damn solid too, 1st R2 miss and there can be distance as 2nd R2 has very good range.
Don´t forget 2H bonefist. It also looks badass when scythe is on your back, 2-3 heads taller
Rh: Alonne great bow
Rh1: Warped sword
Rh2: Old whip
Lh: Shadow dagger
Lh2: Pyro flame (max tier)
Note: Engraved gloves proc bow
Note: Flynn´s do not proc bow(s)
On max tier my ring setup is: Flynn´s, blades, living, illusory ring of exalted. A bit harsh to play without 3rd dragon but its fun to rotate weapons and keep opponent guessing. On lv. 150 3rd dragon instead of illusory.
On max tier if opponent buffs -> fire. On 150 arena, get to position and try to punish opponents buffs/spells like HSA with bow. Also at arena, manual aim, take advantage and fire when opponent is running towards you- Sweet to land a hit and a follow up hit like that. Not easy but rewarding if you score twice.
Bow has 3 basic moves:
-Quick draw e.g fire right away
-Draw and hold e.g wait for opponent to roll and then fire, this will hit after roll animation ends
-Cancel and swap to 1H stance and slash with dagger or swap weapon to sword
Manual aim and head shots can be chained to another hit but you gotta be fast.
Rotate weapons and options are good, 1h warped, dagger slashes, whip 1H and 2H, warped 2H and warped PS with dagger.
For sword slot you might want to try darkdrift or ashen warrior sword, they work nicely too.
Whip is good after you hit with a sword, R2 follow up. You can play it aggro but its cray when opponent attacks with inside weapon from out of range and you punish with 2H R1R1 or when opponent rolls and you punish it and it lands after animation ends.Dex: (Knight)
I used 32 soul vessels lol. Went from 4 atn to 25, from 37 dex to 60 dex. 7 vit to 32 vit. 22 str to 25. From 100 agility to 105. Played a lot with different setups but the above is what I liked the most.
34 end is the breakpoint for an extra move. Quite difference to 20 end if you play aggro. 105 agility gives 1 invi frame over 100 agility. I couldn´t notice any difference. I recommend 100 agility to all builds. 98 was inferior thought, was getting hit mid roll several times.
10 ATT is for warmt, some say it´s cheap. I say:
-Long casting time that can be interupted with a throwing knife
-Caster has spent points to use it
Prevents back pedaling, forces them out of their comfort zone e.g never attack first. Prevents running unlocked and pressing R1 when opponent is in range. Favors aggro and controlling the zone. Imo adds spice. Not like it needs to be used in every fight, it´s situational.
25 Str for loyce GS and 42 dex for darkdrift PS.
For burden either 50% or 40%. Most ftw is to be under 40% with engraved gloves.
Rings: 3rd dragon,life+3,blades+2,flynn´s
LH: Parrying dagger
RH1: Channeler´s trident poison infused
LH1: Channeler´s trident poison infused
RH2: Old whip
LH2: Pyro flame
After parry PS tridents and L2, 450 dmg + poison, punish moss with 2H R1 from whip, spank that ass. After riposte you want to get close to prevent moss and let the DoT work its magic. I haven´t seen anyone use that riposte, it has picked up lately, got positive feedback hehe.
Darkdrift´s R2-R2 move set is sweet both 1H and 2H, use 2H r2s´ vs shields, mixing it with WD R1 and R1 slashes. 1H if you miss R2 and opponent rolls behind you or to your side, 2nd R2 is a pretty solid sweep that connects most times. Otherwise to connect 1st R2 with 1H requires opponent to miss his attack, you can´t go aggro and try to land it.
If you face 2H spear or poking setup lie some retarted 2H buffed rapier dude, use PS tridents and fish for L2 counter hit for poison and then swap to whip and spank that ass.
LH: Puzzling stone sword
Basic DW, here is R2-R2-L2 and then if opponent starts rolling around/towards you.. punish every roll with L1. Can be used very aggressively, mixing WD R1 and L1.
Other nice LH is dagger L1 spam from close range and L2 pokes. Either add back up weapons or be below 40%.
PS Dual claws infused to poison with sanctum soldier gloves and rat ring (instead of life+3) is fun. Warmth is used here, to force opponent to aggro and to small space. You inflict bleed and poison eventually, hard to win but fun. Below 30% here without backup weapons. Just L1 L1.
RH: Loyce GS
RH1: Warped sword
LH1: Ice rapier
Very good setup, back up weapons for finishing the opponent and if opponent just starts rolling or back pedaling. R2-R2-L1-L1, switch stance with Loyce. If you land L1-L1 look what opponent does, it´s possible to land R2-R2 or R1 or jump atk as follow up.
Then there´s all the warped main setups with puzzling stone sword/ice rapier/ espada to offhand. PS rapiers with ice and espada to off with Leo ring.
My common setup to counter everything:
LH:1 Puzzling stone sword
Can do warped PS or spear PS poke with PSS. Main setup Partizan + bone is good fun. I only use weapon 2H if opponents poise reqs it. Old whip as an exception but R2-R2 1H is good, 1st one as a bait and the 2nd usually hits.
Then there´s PS falchions infused to bleed or main as normal and buffed with bleed serum, with those I like to use PS spotted whips infused to poison.
Puzzling stone sword and ice rapier is a nice combo too as normal dw and as PS.
Just a few setups. Dex is very versatile, will not get boring.Str: (Bandit)
LH: Bonefist/parrying dagger
Full lion warrior set for bonefist, with dagger you can use 1 other very light piece to be at 50% burden.
Bonefist is a lovely offhand for Str, with this setup L1-L1 wait R1/jump atk. Using the range of GS and when opponent is on skin bonefist. All moves are pretty solid, jump atk is great, WR R1 and just plain 1H R1 swings. Range and dmg with fast offhand that surprices opponents and that L1-L1 can be followed with range and dmg. If opponent starts to bak pedal and roll only when in low HP, swap to shadow dagger and finish that chump. WD R1 spam ftw.
RH: Butcher knife
Fast and has range + crazy hit box. I love R2-R2. Jump atk is very good too as is WD R1.
RH: Sanctum Mace
LH: Parrying dagger
Poison bite ring+1 instead of life+3 and sanctum soldier gloves. Use light pieces with high poison res like desert sorcerer and thiefs.
Buff the mace with poison resin. I usually start with 1H, fishing for WR R1, trying to space R1, looking for parry. After parry, 2H backstep and R1, ram it. Keep 2H stance and punish moss with WD R1. 2H R1-R1. Watch out for your poison build up, mix bonefist. With 2H you can bait an opponent to roll and if the angle is right you can punish with WD R1.
RH: Barbed club
LH:Bandit axe/battle axe
Just normal DW, club has a very nice R2-R2. Use WD L1 and plain L1 to R1. PS is very hard but hits hard too.
RH1: Bone scythe
PS estocs with leo and engraved gauntlets, boring but yea..
Good ol´ Red rust scimitar 2H, with only the sword equipped you can be under 25%.
Shadow gloves, crest of blood. Buff club with bleed serum.
RH: Barbed club
LH: Chariot lanceBrawler:
PS. R2 if you miss and opponent coming at you in a good angle follow up with any button, if you hit don´t press any button. L1-L1-R2. R1-R1. WR R1. L2 is hadouken, awesome to hit and toss opponent to the ground. Good fun, imo even viable. Also staying at 25% and you can use puzzling stone sword as a backup weapon. Same rings maybe stone instead of life+3 vs poise. Annoying vs eternal bak pedalers, kinda boring to chase an opponent with fists but yea.
Other good setups are PS longswords or sun sword + longsword. Zwei + bonefist and curved ultras Nil and dragon and Yorghs spear.Semi outdated pre patch and dlcs´Faith:Hand of god
RH: Lightning defender´s great sword +5
LH: Lightning Dragon chime +5
Black hood,jester,havel,lion mage
Rings: Blades,clear bluestone,life
Miracles: Heavenly thunder,Sunlight spear,Wrath of gods,Great heal/Great magic barrier
Trying heavenly thunder to sunlight spear, after casting heavenly thunder you´re free from the animation while bolts are still hitting the ground. Burden is like 49,5 or more so sadly need to play without parries. Nothing else to add here, lots of talk about faith allready.Fallen
RH: Dark chaos blade +5
LH: Dark caitha´s chime +10
Basic spellsword setup for efficient melee/magic add whatever you like/ burden allows.

RH2: Shadow dagger +10 / Shotel +10 / Espada ropera +10
RH3: Spotted whip infused to poison
LH1: Chaos blade +5
LH2: Pyromancy flame
LH3: Spotted whip infused to poison
Weapon setup has plenty of options, I also like Zorro´s sword in offhand for parries and a dagger in mh for ripostes.
Power stance blades and whips. Whips either inflict poison with L1 or L2 or your opponent is an inch away getting poisoned -> poison knives. Forbidden sun is a good way to punish moss.
Forbidden sun can be chained after WDR1 or R2. Basic powerstance combo is R1,L1,R1 or start with L1. After full combo you can swap to pyro flame and toss forbidden sun.
Rings: Stone ring, Ring of blades+2, Life ring+2, Third dragon ring
Blades can be swapped to stamina ring+2, like dido been saying its very good with light armor.
Spells: Flame weapon, forbidden sun
Hexer´s hood for 2 forbidden suns and any light armor pieces you prefer. Stamina regen gets penalty from medium/heavy armor, having stamina and being able to act faster is more important than mitigation for dexterity builds, like dido been saying
I don´t know why people say that dexterity lacks dmg, it certainly doesen´t and I think its top tier build as usual.
RH: Chaos blade +5
RH2: Poison spotted whip +5
RH3: Shadow dagger +10 / shotel +10
LH: Chaos blade +5
LH2: Poison spotted whip +5
LH3: Falchion +10
Shadow set. (Plenty of vitality for heavier armor setup)
Life/stamina / thorns
Poison knives to quick item.
Blades have very good range and counter strenght. L1, R1, L1 punishes forward rolling and causes heavy dmg. When you stagger you can chain that combo, it can be either after WDR1 or normal R1 depends on the range and is it a counter hit.
Very simple. Vs heavy poise you need to 2H.
Throns is pretty good with spotted whips, you can trade, opponent gets poisoned and thorns save you from a combo. Its 400+ dmg right away and poison keeps eating the opponent. If he uses a moss you need to be able to punish it with blade WDR1 and hopefully connect with R1 after.
Whips are used in power stance with simple L1 and L2. Great shield user can be annoying and in some late match situations deadly, that´s why I got shotel as a backup. 2H R2 also has nice tracking. Shadow dagger is for ripostes and sometimes for backstabs. 2H moveset is win too WDR1 to R1. Repeat xD. Falchion is for parrying.Warped
Tested stamina instead of life, its a matter of taste. Tested leo instead life/stamina, its cool but doesen´t do much for this build. Let´s just say that life or stamina is better for this build.
Armor: I got jester´s robes and engraved gauntlets with 2 light pieces, defenses are 400+
RH: Espada ropera +10
LH: Warped sword +5
23 Adp is 98 agility. Played vs japanese at the arena and in some matches when phantom range was from 1.5 rolls away, I could still roll and dodge with ease. Great swords, santier´s and lolavelyns and katanas and whatnot, I didn´t notice any difference to 100 agility. But 100 only costs 3 more points so I think its worth it. Need to test 95 agility next.
When you get opponent to L1 or R1 you can do infite stunlock, with 60 end its 9 hits. Engraved gauntlets have 5% chance to turn normal attacks to criticals and they fit this build perfectly as you´ll be hitting a lot. Opponent runs away, you run after, opponent heals with estus and you kill him with an infinite stunlock, it was so funny to out run people with more stamina and then just punish with stunlock when they healed. Also most of the times you get to start a combo after rolling once or twice, this is where the extra stamina makes a huge difference.
20 End is 135 stamina and 60 End is 180 stamina. First I tested with 40 end and it was clearly better than 20 end. I´ll say that 60 end is freedom
I didn´t test stamina more than that. In dks the route was to take points from end now It seems that gouging End has great benefits atleast to certain builds.
You can break heavy poise by doing 2H poke then switching to dw and doing L1 or R1 from close range and it should stun the opponent to your combo.
L1 punishes rolling. You poke with R1, opponent rolls but you can still follow up with L1 and it has very good hit ratio and if its late roll animation you can start combo. The only way to break the combo is if you start it from too far and the distance keeps growing and after 3-4 hits the range is far enough for the opponent to roll away.
I got very good results vs over leveled players with this build and I tried a lot of risky parrying vs buffed weapons that turned many matches that I could´ve sealed.
Build is nasty but enjoyable and tricky to play vs heavy poise. Mura:
Havel,jester,havel,havel (1029 vs slash)
RH: Murakumo +10
RH2: Chaos blade +5
LH: Parrying dagger
Life+2,soldier´s +2, blades+2, third dragon
Dmg and bs dmg are good. CB is a good backup weapon and mitigation is solid.
Mura is a very simple weapon, you try to land WDR1 to R1 R1. Imo its a good weapon that needs spacing and timing. WR R1 is decent and normal R1 is not that bad either. Playing unlocked also works.
Buffs are resin and green blossom. Sacred oath would cost 10 points + a ring slot + 15 spices, I prefer pure melee.
List of setups coming here.
I disliked avelyn. Used it few days, not much but enough to get bored and now I dislike it even more. For me its not fun. For you? it will certainly not improve your game. Tbh I can´t recommend that weapon to anyone.
Here´s some setups as an example, all tested, all enjoyable and viable. I can´t even rank a favourite or say this one is way more competitive than this one. Weapons are mundane if not mentioned otherwise and 3rd dragon is in every setup.
I took 25 Vit for flexibility in armor/ring/weapon setups and 18/18 for black hood since I use spells a lot and it weights less than king´s crown.
LH1: Parrying dagger
LH2: Composite bow
Spells: Sacred oath
Just Dagger it has good AR and 150 counter strenght and only weights 0.5 lbs. Its been on my R2 since I started the toon. All the criticals are done with it, even guard breaks, there´s plenty of time to swap. Mind the range and recovery time of santier´s when going for dagger criticals in guard break situations. Burden allows shadow dagger to be used. Composite bow is really fast, like at amana in ng+ you can shoot 3 arrows to a caster (close range) before she can hurl a spell and those bitches are fast. Only used the bow in one PvP session and I allready finished over a dozen with it, easy. A lot more fun than avelyn and not nearly as gay.
Armor is which I think will be the new cookie cutter setup: Black hood,Jester´s,havel, havel
2200 HP, 750-840 defenses. Those are good numbers considering that you can´t be backstabbed and jester´s have high elemental defenses. Jester´s not needed to avoid stabs at all and missed bs whifs for your opponent are good for you but 1 shot vacuum lag stabs are grim.
Out my setups this one is the most odourless and tasteless so to speak. Its a grey setup as grey as havel´s lols.
What I like is to trade the other havel piece to something lighter and soldier´s ring to red tearstone. Defenses lower to 550-600 for hyper which grants a solid dmg boost that can turn matches.
RH: Rusted Red Scimitar
RH2: Dark silverblack spear
LH setup is the same as the previous setup but without parrying dagger.
I went to buy gold pine resin and stumbled upon RRS. Tested the moveset in the air and the smoothness of 2H parry told me right away to upgrade it to +5.
WDR1 - R1 - R1 kinda like kilij in DeS. 2H parry is very good with this weapon and unexpected. R2 kinda slow but can fit in after staggering the opponent. So far the highest dmg without any buffs for WDR1-R1-R1 is 1079. Highest number of hits chained so far with 2H is 5, that´s right 5 hit stunlock with real good stagger, the guy wasn´t going anywhere.
DSS has cool R2-R2 in both stances. R1 pokes offer good range and decent dmg. A backup weapon that provides options. Claymore takes burden to even 50% so it´s a viable backup weapon aswell.
Yesterday played the above setup and I was doing very good dmg. Then an opponent that took 100 dmg per 2H swing. It ended in me backpedaling with 50 HP left and opponent coming at me when I hit him with WDR1 and followed with 3 R1´s, he was stunned after the WDR1 and took pitiful 100 dmg per swing and died to the last one, total dmg was 408. It was no surprice that he dropped 100k souls. That´s how broken it is to level over 250+. Everytime you see above happen you can think of it as a challenge. This is also the main reason why ignorant people think that pure physical is bad.
Right after that I was vaded by full havel guy and same thing, after getting him to 60% HP, I swapped to Santier´s (its verrryyy good for killing overlv. scrubs) and he dropped the same 100k.
Guys like that are bad for Scimitar setup but in fair 150 +-25 range, it does well. Also this was in ng with 3m sm. Gotta love mm eh.
I have not longed for stamina+2 in the 1st setup. It would be good vs turtles and result in more guard breaks and in general the player with stamina advantage can get the opponent to ropes so to speak but I haven´t missed stamina+2 with Santier´s. However for the RSS setup it fits so the desicion is now soldier´s,read tearstone or stamina.
Santier´s mix very nicely with spells, perhaps the best weapon to mix with magic.
Same setup as the 1st but dark black witch staff instead of chime and lion mage cuffs/skirt instead of havel gloves/boots just the gloves or the boots and clear blue stone ring+2 instead of soldiers/tear stone/stamina.
Defenses are around 550-600 not bad for a spellsword with 2200 HP and even physical and elemental defenses around 90.
Spells: Whisper of despair,Great resonant soul, Soul great sword
Alt setup Hexer:
Bow to RH and pyromancy flame to LH. Southern ritual band +2 instead of life+2.
Spells: Whisper of despair, Dark fog, Great resonant soul, Soul great sword, Great combustion
Alt setup Pyromancer:
Spells: Whisper of despair,Great resonant soul, Forbidden sun, Great combustion
Spell meta was spam from range with high dmg and hope for the best. Now its careful spacing and timing in order to land anything. Chasing an opponent to a spell never works. Spamming is bad unless you´re hoping for a lucky lag hit. You need to time the spells after stuns, after rolls or to look for trades.
Hexer setup as an example:
Whisper of despair: Best to be used from range, never from close range or when an opponent is rolling towards you. After WR R1 it has very high chance of landing. The spell has good tracking. Good time to toss whisper is when an opponent is taking distance from you.
Dark fog: Just like the witches in crypt use it
just like that from close range when an opponent does not expect it. Spamming from range and hoping for the best is from nowhere. If/when you land you need to stay close or be prepared to punish moss/healing with Grs.
Grs: After WD/WR R1, you can either cast it right away or wait a bit so that it will hit them after the roll. Here is a chance to land soul great sword after the Grs. Remember that Grs also depletes the opponents stamina. When an opponent is using a shield and has low stamina grs can often guard break or to lead to a guard break if you can follow up with melee.
Soul great sword: Safe spell to use with jester´s, I think cast speed of 260+ would benefit this a lot but will have to do around 190 for this build. Best be used when an opponent dashes at you or unlocked to get the best possible angle for it. Like with most of the stuff the best timing is after the opponents roll.
Great combustion is really bad and hopeless to land if you "chase" opponent to it, no no. The opponent needs to come at you. You need to time it before the opponents hit connect. Its not easy but its good and unexpected, works best with pyromancer setup after using forbidden sun. Days when you would spam black flame are gone. You really need to think before casting this one. Note that it uses quite a lot of stamina so be sure to land it. After landing GC you can do WD R1 or WR R1 depending on situation/distance. I usually dash forward, wait for the opponent to roll and then do WD R1 from close range which can be chained to R1 poke or possibly to GRS or Soul GS.
Like said before GMB works nicely with the build so for caster setup with 1960 HP, its not a bad idea at the cost of 1 slot. But idea is to stay out of harms way and utilise the range and trickery of Santier´s and spells
About buffs, imo SLB> Res weapon. SLB adds range. Range that many doom as phantom range, but its actually the power of the sun xD. 2H santier´s spin to win with SLB, nuff said. People underestimate the range and don´t understand that SLB adds to it.
When you face SLB user, always roll to be safe. In general you should always think about phantom range when strafing. There´s safe and phantom range safe.
Like RK said powerstanced longswords are faster than katanas, they lack a bit dmg and range but the speed makes it up and the moveset is quite nice. I´m quite fond of normal R2. Very deadly weapons. I dislike using stone ring cause I always get opponents in heavy poise making the ring useless and forcing me to 2H so now I´m just using the swords as a back up weapon.
About agility 98,100,102 or 110 are good numbers to aim. 102 cause it gives good returns for points spent in Adp. Agility is very good and makes a difference. If you doubt agility, test rolling vs PvE enemies with below 90 agility, then with 95 agility and then with 100+
Being below 50% is also very important and there´s a huge difference in being below 25%. Everything is super easy to dodge below 25% and if you´ve 100+ agility. I´d say light armor with simple weapon setup and soldier´s +2 is worth it.
Red tearstone ring works well with the build too. I like the build cause it has solid all around defenses. It has good unbuffed dmg and offers different play styles and setups.
RH: Chariot Lance +5
RH1: Estoc +10
LH: Dragonslayer Greatbow +5
LH1: Composite Bow +10
LH2: Llewellyn shield +5
Rings: Life+2/stamina+2, blades+2, Old leo ring, third dragon
I played in black dragon armor and after like 5 matches I met a full havel dude with invinsible weapon (it was dagger), after hitting R1, I roll away and 1s later I get vacuumed back to where I was and backstabbed and 1 shotted. This is why I´m fond of jester´s robes. So armor setup is Jester´s robes and something light with above bad boys
Chariot lance is all about doing a well timed counter poke with R1 that you chain to R2. Its a really good feeling when you see the situation, you see that your opponent´s strike is late, you see how your lance is ready and about to crush him. Rolling twice sometimes 3 times then R1 from a weird angle, it can even be behind the opponent if he is swinging to R2. After succesful R1-R2, your opponent is badly staggered and you´ve 5% stamina left. Here I change to Great bow and fire. Great bow is so slow that after draw, most opponents roll and the arrow fires after their roll ends tossing them like a ragdoll. Its a really fun weapon. I´m using lightning and destructive arrows. I´m messing with Great bow a lot, note that sunlight spear is faster and does more dmg
Faster Composite bow for a surprice. Estoc backup weapon for thrusting theme. Chariot lance has decent tracking in R2, it can hit from an unexpected angle but its a risk fishing if your R1 didn´t connect.
Shield is light and looks good, I haven´t used it yet but took it as a variation and trying to do something different with every toon.
Alt setup can be with claymore as a backup weapon or in offhand and then you get vertical swing, L2 thrust, solid run L1 and rolling thrust with clay. I prefer the primary setup.
Vit 27 (15)
Int 17 (29)
RH: Blue flame +5
LH: Blue flame +5
Hexer´s hood and whatever you prefer.
Rings: Stone,blades+2,clear bluestone+2,Third dragon
Spell: Crystal magic weapon,Crystal soul spear,Soul greatsword,Soul shower/Homing crystal soul mass for 29 Int
Worth a slot if you´re using megamule and can spice all the spells down to 18 Int. 18 Int is where the dmg of blue flame dimishes. 30 Int is good if you want to use homing crystal soul mass as it gives you the 4th orb. Powerstance requirements are a must as it changes normal dw moveset to longswords and gives you the powerstance L1 which is your best attack.
Build is the definition of spellsword and casting sorceries with swords is fun and effective. Sorceries are also more enjoyable and better than in dks. When everything works, I managed to land a combo after soul shower/Crystal soul mass stun, R1,L1,R1 etc. -> Soul great sword. Massive dmg and many died to that soul great sword. That is also required to win. You need to land spells and you need to land melee combos. Without the other winning is very hard.
Swords have very limited moveset and all the attacks are inferior to longsword´s. R2 and L2 cast spells and you´re left with R1 and L1 and the 1st attack is slow upper cut. Heavy poise, Gmb and anyone that stays calm and knows how to dodge will provide plenty of challenge.
RH: Dark longsword +10

This one can be played with mundane build aswell and you´ll get grs and can do some spellsword setups or just melee with gmb + resonant flesh. I wanted to dedicate a build for the above setup and just use a weapon buff.Mage:
Rings: Clear bluestone,blades,life
Black hood,lion mage set
Cast speed 302
Spells: Homing crystal soul mass x2, Heavy homing soul arrow,Crystal soul spear x2, Soul greatsword x2
RH: Watcher greatsword +5
RH2: Magic shadow dagger
RH3: Magic broadsword / magic estoc
LH: Magic lizard staff /staff of wisdom / witchtree branch
LH2: Magic parrying dagger
Crystal soul spear dmg numbers vs dogs
Witchtree branch 767 with 140 cast speed
Lizard 895 with 120 cast speed
Wisdom 966 with 110 cast speed
I favor Lizard. Homing crystal soul mass to homing soul arrow to crystal soul spear mix melee in. Buff watcher with L2 if opponent buffs. After melee hits > soul greatsword. Trade hits with soulgreat sword when it gets interupted it cancels the animation and deals counter hit dmg. More info about spells later on.
Like always all discussion is welcomed. Do share. Questions? don´t be shy.
